The analysis runs on the camera.
Six models, each built around one job: face, fire, counting, parcels, plates, road lanes.
Six jobs, six models
A scenario camera is only worth the trip if it removes work from the recorder and from the operator. These are the jobs this line covers.
4MP and 5MP models that compare faces at the edge and send events rather than raw streams.
80BAI40M5A2-PTBR-FCFlame recognition on a 6MP 4G body, so a yard with no cable still raises the alarm.
80BG601LFA2-PTBR-FI6MP counting model for doorways and aisles, reporting counts instead of video.
80BG603LFA2-PTBR-PCThe AI line, model by model
Resolution and the feature the model was built for, as listed on the product page and data sheet.
| Model | Job | Resolution | Stated capability |
|---|---|---|---|
| 80BAI40M5A2-PTBR-FC | Face recognition | 4MP | Efficient H.265+ compression |
| 50DAI50FA2-PTBR-FC | Face recognition | 5MP | Efficient H.265+ compression |
| 80BG603LFA2-PTBR-PC | People counting | 6MP | Efficient H.265+ compression |
| 80BG601LFA2-PTBR-FI | Fire detection | 6MP | 4G, efficient H.265+ compression |
| 80BG801SM5A2-PTBA-LPR | Plate recognition | 4K | High quality imaging at 4K |
| 80BFG403LM7A2-PTBA-RD | Road monitoring | 4MP | 1/1.8" sensor, powerful processing core |
Frame rate, lens and illumination for each model are in its PDF data sheet. Ask me for the model you are evaluating.
What changes when the camera does the analysis
Four practical consequences for the integrator, not a feature list.
- Bandwidth drops. An event with a snapshot costs a fraction of a continuous 4K stream.
- The recorder matters less. Analytics that used to need a server now sit in the housing.
- Lighting still decides. Recognition needs the face or plate lit: check the IR distance and the mounting angle before the count.
- Verify against your scene. Recognition rates published for a controlled door do not transfer to a wet loading bay. Test with your own footage.

- Compression
- H.265 and H.265+ on the AI models
- Integration
- Standard streaming and ONVIF where stated on the sheet
- Power
- 12 V DC, with POE on the network models
- Ask for
- Sample unit and test footage checklist
